Consistent origin of dark matter and baryon asymmetry of the universe
Now applying the new mirror matter model to the early Universe, we can obtain a consistent picture of how dark matter and matter-antimatter imbalance originated after the big bang. Here is the paper that has just been finished: Kaon oscillations and baryon asymmetry of the universe.
The new mirror matter model proposes a universal oscillation mechanism for neutral hadrons between ordinary and mirror sectors. In particular, a natural extension of the new model applying kaon oscillations in the early universe shows a promising solution to the long-standing baryon asymmetry problem with new insights for the QCD phase transition and B-violation topological processes. A consistent picture for the origin of both baryon asymmetry and dark matter can then be depicted with kaon and neutron oscillations under the new model. The new concept of staged quark condensation also provides a natural explanation of the so-called \(U_A(1)\) or strong CP problem.
