First experimental work motivated by the new mirror matter theory is carried out

The first experimental work motivated by the new mirror matter theory — “Search for Invisible Decays of the Λ Baryon” by the BESIII collaboration has just been submitted to arXiv.org.

This is the first serious attempt to find experimental evidence predicted by the new mirror model. In this case, it is the unexpectedly large invisible decay branching fraction of Λ Baryon (about \(4.4\times 10^{-7}\) as predicted). Unfortunately, their precision needs to be improved at least by an order of magnitude, which is actually possible for the next generation Super Tau Charm Facility (STCF) in China.
